Avril Lavigne get success again
What The Hell was released on January 11, 2011 a marker of the return of the rock chick Avril Lavigne to the world of music, having "disappeared" for about four years. Indeed, in early 2010 this Canadian girl had time to fill the soundtrack of Alice in Wonderland. But, with the release of the latest single from their fourth album, Goodbye Lullaby, Avril ready to repeat this success the previous album, The Best Damn Thing (2007) with the single mainstay Girlfriend!
"I am very glad to be back. Already a few years passed and I am very excited to see What The Hell so far been well received on iTunes and by the fans. The response was really good, so I'm happy, "he told MTV News.
So far indeed What The Hell looks promising. In the United States, the single has been ranked 6th on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs and 13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. In Japan even more powerful. Number 2 in Japan Hot 100 and won 1 in Japan Adult Contemporary Airplay!
Own video, directed by Dave Meyers (who directed the video Alice's Avril, her Somebody to Love Justin Bieber, his Firework Katy Perry and her Raise Your Glass P! nk), had played for the first time on January 23, 2011. She says this video is quite special, you know.
"Video music in the form of 3-D and my favorite part here is the rock scene at the end where I jump on stage and there I was with my band. When I watched it with 3-D glasses, the hands of the audience can look and taste like a live gig in front of a crowd. So it was kind of cool, "said former partner Deryck Wh8bley “Sum 41” .
