Tom Mesereau is still defending Michael “He was a very kind-hearted artist”

Michael’s lawyer Tom Mesereau is still defending his client even though he is in the grave, saying the singer was a “kind-hearted artist” who “truly believed he could heal the world”. Tom Mesereau, who successfully represented Michael in the 2005 trial, told CNN that he thinks Michael was exploited and taken advantage of.
Mesereau said: “He was a very kind-hearted, gentle, sensitive, intuitive artist who truly believed he could heal the world in some positive way. He attracted one profiteer after another. There was loneliness, isolation, distrust. The cruellest thing of all was taking children and turning children against him.”
Mesereau was asked to represent Michael by his family after being recommended by OJ Simpson’s former lawyer, Johnnie Cochran. The 60-year-old lawyer revealed that he always believed he would win the case. He said: “I thought we were winning all along.”
Mesereau also criticised media coverage of the Michael Jackson trial, saying: “Mountains were made out of molehills. “The case was characterised by crisis, shock and confusion.”legendarymichaeljackson.nl
